Tournament Formats

Hoping some of you guys on here can help clear this up for me...

I'm just a bit confused about some of the formats which are played, I understand KOTH and the race toformats, but beyond that I get a bit lost

As far as I have seen there are 5 man and 7 man formats as well, but how do these work? Is it done to a set time where whoever has the most points at the end of it wins, or is it done differently?

If someone could just help me out here then that would be great
And if someone could let me know which tournament series use which format as well then that would be useful, i.e. CPPS, Southern Masters, Millenium, etc.

5 man is a scoring based game where you can earn up to 100 points a game and each team plays each other once and your scores are added up at the end.

7 Man doesnt run in the UK which is a shame

Both the masters and CPPS run five man and race to 2 (xball)

So 5 man is the same as the KOTH format then? At least what you've described is the format that the PPL ran this year which was advertised as KOTH. Thanks for the information anyway

KOTH is a beginers league and a great way to learn the sport there are cetain rules you follow like less paint and stuff but yes it is still a 5 man format
