What with big hitters like Avalanche, Ton Ton, Joy Division, Nexus, Russian Legion and Ugly Ducklings not playing Toulouse, and possibly several other big name teams, will the event be as top quality competition standard wise as usual? Or just another walk in the Park for Dynasty?

Will there be many NXL teams there? Will the likes of B.E All Stars, Arsenal, Bushwackers, Naughty Dogs and Infamous be there to battle it out with Dynasty for 1st place?

;)

Placing it the very next weekend from Chicago make things hard for US teams. There used to be a weekend between, what happened with that?

Sam, we are sticking in the feeder team with a couple of the first teamers to help out.
It might well be worth the while of any Euro pro team to at least try and have some presence there if they want to try and get their NPPL ranking positions but if they ain't going to play any Stateside, then it obviously don't matter.
Still. it should be fun but I'm gonna be stretched out on some Majorcan beach for a few weeks, so I won't be able to watch them :(
I't s a tough life :)

Fun as the EXL may be, it does indeed seem to take away quality ball from the events that don't host the EXL, which is a shame, particularly in the case of Toulouse, which always had a strong showing of Stateside teams in the past...

Pete, be careful when you're on the beach. Remember the festive friends you made a few years back.... ;)

i suspect that toullouse will still be the biggest event yet, but i have to agree, X-ball has really hit the budgets of most teams quite hard, perhaps it's time to take a reality check and say that not everything about x-ball is a grand as it first seemed. Everything costs something, and if it means the Pro Bracket at Toullouse suffers, then that's the price we pay to have the EXL.

It'll still be a killer event, and i'm definatly looking forward to it.

Hey Egi,

It's tough for the leagues to spread the events out so that nothing conflicts let alone is a week off from each other. My guess is their primary concern was to stretch them out from the NPPL series and the PSP series was second in line.

I'll miss playing toulouse this year (pbgateway), take it easy and good luck!
