Buyer beware...Ok, firstly I know I should of done my homework and found out more info before buying, but still, thought I'd warn everyone, so some might not make the same mistake.
I bought the Toulouse 2000 video by Adrenaline Games a while back and really enjoyed it. It covered a lot of the games played in full and was about 1hr 30min long. So when I saw the Toulouse 2001 video by Adrenaline Games dfrom the same UK retailer and I got that this week.
Now the UK place describes the 2001 video as "awesome action from the Toulouse World Cup 2001" so I ASSUMED, more of the same, just like the 2000 video. Well, it was made by the same people, the side covering is in the same style, it's the same torny as the other video and it's priced around the same. To my disappointment, it is NOT a video covering games in full at all. More of a promo/introduction to paintball and the Toulouse torny with a plug for Facefull magazine. It was like only 20min long. Yes parts of games get covered and interviews with players about the event, but both are only brief. Not exactly what I was expecting for £12.72 +VAT+P&P from the same people who made the 2000 video.
Hopefully they'll release a proper Toulouse 2001 video next year, but until then, anyone buying the 'Adrenaline Paintball' one by Adrenaline Games and Facefull, should realise it's a promo video which is only 20min long and doesn't cover any games in full. Also in the meantime I have contacted the UK retailer to make my disappointment known and suggest they make it clear it is a promo video, not a video covering the event.
