Questions before you need to know the answers to really are:
how many countries allow paintball to be played?
How many leagues run in each country?
What format are they playing?
My best guess for how many in this country would be between 800 - 1000. I have got it down on paper but its too long winded to explain.
Taking each country in europe as roughly equivalent, thats probably about 30,000. Take each state in america as its own country and thats about 50,000. Russia and the baltics? 4,000? asia and australia - 2000?
So my best guess would be about 90,000. (give or take a few thousand)
Someone will definitly come on here and shoot me down but ive done some research for a uni project on numbers in this country and im applying that model to the world.
