for the last two years i have been helping to run the U.K.Marshal's Paintball Club. Last year we decided to leave our
comfortable surroundings at mayhem events essex in search pastures new, thanks to rob and jenny for all your patiance and help. the club met every other wednesday evening from 7pm to 10pm but as the nights drew in we could not use the supair field and as some of the organisers worked on the weekend, wednesday nights were the only time the team could train together properly, so we needed to find a place that would alow use to set up a supair field with lights on it, this we found but unfortunatly the club could not afford to finance this project, so four of the clubs members myself included got together to find the finances required to fund the project this came mainly from our own pockets, the club put in the remainder of its float which was about £300 but so far we have spent about £12,000, we hope when we open to have a hard standing car park, toilets, two supair fields,possable third fields, team covered area, heated paint storage facility, canteen area and tec's on site. you dont have to be a member to come down and play you can get a temparary membership valid for 1 day for £10 this is your entry fee, air is free 4500psi. Torni Park as it has been named is mainly for the u.k.marshal's to be able to train, but we hope it enables other team the chance to come and train at a venue that has been formed by paintballers for paintballers this is not a rec ball site so no rec ball groups (sorry) but if you want to know of any good recball sites we know a few we can let you have there number. any one can join our club, subject to laws and legal reasons, you dont have to play for one of the clubs teams, if you do wish to play for one of the clubs teams we welcome you, all we ask is that you play fair and honest and keep things safe (club members area with tv video and playstation, free tea and coffee full club members only 1 day membership not valid)
we hope to start some form of fun tornis and some slightly more serious ones this year so watch this space
