tornament newbie style!

i have actually never played any of the tournament format paintball games (sup air , speedball etc) only rec-ball in the woods and im getting my first mrkr at x-mas , prob an eclipse autococker and i want to be able to use it often im 15 and wonderin if anyone knows anywhere to go regularily (like at least twice a month) with my own equipment to play paintball(rec or tourny) i mean i really want to get onto a team but dont know how to go a bout it apart from the odd tryouts i see in these forums is there any where i can go in manchester any practises any tournys or regular walk ons please i must know!

I notice that your over in Manchester, why don't you try Dukinfield paintball. They do a practice night on Tuesdays with players bringing their own kit and paint, but its a little dark and slippy in there. (www.saddamsbunker.com) or you could try Chemical ball in Northwich, again an indoor site. If your after rec ball woodland, most times I've played, I've phoned up first for a confirmation that taking my own kit to a punters day is allowed and then picked them off one by one. Unsporting but very funny!!!!
The other thing to do is get in touch with On The Edge events and find out when the next walk-on is. They do them in Congleton and Marchbrook, Wrexham. The last place to look is on the UKPSF website for sites and walk-on advice
