With the 2006 season drawing to a close it is time to start thinking about the paintball you want to play next year. IronLions London are planning to play the Millennium Series in Div2 in 2007 as well as standing an excellent chance of playing the highest quality domestic competition available in the UK in the EPA Div 1 (we currently lead Div 2). To this end we are looking to take on a few more talented players to bolster the squad.
We are looking for players wanting to take the next step in their paintball careers and feel ready to step up to a bigger stage than their current team is able to provide. If you have the talent to succeed and commitment to the time for training and events get in contact for further details. We will be organizing sessions to see prospective applicants for this squad at one of our regular Monday evenings or an upcoming Darford training weekend.
Successful applicants will be fasttracked through our normal recruitment process and will receive assistance to afford the cost of these events so please don't let financial worries put you off from applying. Having said that, we are not a Pro team so don't apply hoping for a free ride either! As well as financial help you will also be able to train on a weekly basis on Monday evenings as well as sessions at Darford. We will have a mix of drills nights and guest coaches down to work on particular aspects e.g. we had Dan Maskell down last week.
For anyone else we do operate a club-based structure and welcome recruits of any experience level. More details of this will be advertised later in the year or you can check our website for information at www.ironlions.co.uk
