This is what four and a half years of paintball will teach you... EXPENSIVE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.
So heres a list for the newbies who think a new $5000 electronic bolt will make their spyder into a super gun.
Barrel.(Only needed for a good paint to barrel match doesnt matter if its a dye or a taso. Your paint must fit your barrel fit it to be accurate once you figure out a good paint to barrel match test different style porting. Length doesn matter a 12 will shoot the same as a 18 or 20.)
Bolt. (Your stock bolt will shoot just as good as any after market venturi bolt and or high flow bolt. Just remove the venturi part and fps increases a little.)
Valve. (Finally a part you can rip out or swap, Not. Just mill the top part of it correctly and it is a copy of the 32 degrees valve.)
Expansion chambers.(AVOID AT ALL COST. They cause spikes in your velocity which causes it to fluctuate up and down and are useless with nitrogen.)
bigger c02 tank.(Its good if you cant afford nitrogen but can also be a bit sensitive to weather and cause spikes in veocity.)
Striker and or hammer ( Lets buy a new one... NO. heres why unless your trying for a super low pressure set up dont buy one just polish it. but if you aretrying for super low lp buying a dark horizon titanium striker will be the best thing and guess what you might just polish that one too.)
Polishing. (This is a upgrade that will be worth it all it requires is 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper. 800 to get out the ruff spots and 1000 to finish. This helps by making your parts smooth and allows them to move faster.)
Electronic triggers. (will no work is most cases all they do is chop. Well they work decent at 9bps but hey i can do that walking my mechanical trigger if not alittle faster.)
Now that you realize that you didnt need to spend $950 in what i call the spyder trap dont you feel bad. Your gun still shoots at 220 fps and cant even shoot straight. Yes you may see me as sarcastic but i didnt realize it til its to late and people only seem to listen when they are being insulted.
