Just a note to say what a good day both Campaign Power teams had at Bullswood on the 18th.

As usual the marshalling was spot on and the organisation was superb.

Couple this together with teams that play fairly and enjoy what they are doing and you end up with another good tourney.

Well done to all the teams who placed and to those who learnt the meaning of a "dead mans walk" courtesy of Mr Niall Squire, although there was a player who didn't see the gamesmanship of " the move".

Luckily, I think that the player in question has now placed all his toys back in his pram and placed his now muddy dummy back in his mouth. ;)

Finally, an worrying observation........

During the day there were alot of instances when Judges/Players did not have there goggles on while out on the fields. i.e between games etc.

Unfortunately, before and after the games have started and finished, players are always chronographing/testing their guns.

This tournament series attracts alot of new/entry level players, which is great but we all need to be setting a good example!!

Come on guys lets keep those goggles on!!!!!!

Thanks again to all involved and see you at the next one.

Bullswood Field 2

We (Kool Running) to0 had a good day on sunday, not that our results showed it :).

I would like to ask a question of the orgainsers of the tourney. Is it me or was Field 2 supposed to be so heavily biased to the right hand end?

For those that disagree i would love to know how you dealt with coming along the top.

Thanks

Paddeo

Sorry you guts found that field to be biased. Looking over the score sheets and chatting to the judges it does seem more wins were taken from that end, but not a significant amount. At preveous rounds it had been commented that that end weak, as the other end had the superior root bowls and top edge. In light of this we did alter the field, but it would seem slightly to much.

Hope next time we can srike the right balance.

Thanks, Dan.
