Hi

Just wondering if the people who borrowed the ETEK Egos from us at Northern Quarter over the weekend fancied posting up some feedback about them, what their experiences were with the markers any issues etc

Would be good

thanks

Thanks for the review

Lets hopefully get some more feedback on here, as we are the official ETEK centre for Eclipse in the UK and we wanna make sure everyone has a good experience. Plus we can pass on any comments on the markers themselves to Eclipse directly so any opinions might make an impact on future guns.

cheers

Markie was good enough to lend me and my brother one each. No problems at all over the course of the weekend, trigger was not exactly set to my personal preference but thats not the markers fault.

Not a single chop, nice and light, easy to move around you on the field.
Very fast markers, and considering everywhere seems to be capped at 15bps this isn't exactly a real issue any more. stock barrel was very good and air efficiency seemed to be excellent although i wasn't properly keeping track of it.

i was impressed with shooting long strings of paint and getting the balls pretty much where i wanted them, and consistently at that.

I have an 05 ego here at home, which i love and felt that the Etek wasn't quite as refined as the 05, but still a great marker. milling is basic and simple but this is no bad thing, makes the marker very easy to clean between drills/games.

for the money i would definitely recommend one of these markers to anyone, particularly new tournament players or anyone looking a solid and reliable backup marker.

I was lucky enough to get hold of an etek for about a day and half and really enjoyed using it.
It was light small and fast enough and I didn't get a single break.
The trigger was slightly more sensitive than I would like as it kept going of when I was switching hands or trying to slide was abit annoying (and only narrowly avoiding being painful) but that would be my only real fault of the marker except that it did die on me during one game for no apparent reason (air on, switched on, hopper working) but kicked back up just at the end of the game so dunno what happened there.
But overall a great gun that was a massive step up from what I use and would consider purchasing one. So thanks to markie for letting me use one

no mate, not worried as i was capable of doing it myself, but just didn't want to mess with too much of anything that doesn't belong to me.

didn't take anything away from the Etek experience at all. still ripped people up and served me very well indeed. must have done something right with it cus i did actually manage to hit people this time.................
