TM7- Opinions Please

Thinking of getting one, just wondered what the general concensus is on it?

Based on the Invert Mini, if you want a scenario looking marker they're a decent starting point, if you want something the is a little lighter go for a Mini or the new Axe. Generally quite reliable, so long as you know how to service it (I mean properly, read the manual and then read it again), there were problems with early versions with boards and poppet valves so far as I can tell. The Mini/Axe is a medium priced marker with performance of a much more expensive marker, one of our guys swears by his. The TM15 is it's bigger brother but has the same basic internals.

This is possibly the wrong area of the forum to post in, also the boys on ukscenario would also have a little more to say about it, then the mostly 'tounrey' guys on here, correct me if I'm wrong

I see, ok yeah, I use minis for sup'air hence my interest in the TM7, kind of wanted a similar performance, but with a ingle trigger for a change... miss the days of my lovely ancient single hair trigger pull Angel LED!!!

tm7 is fine for woodland use, same speed as a mini but looks the part and pretty robust, needs a trigger job, the stock piece of metal that acts as a trigger return is horrible and there is lots of side to side slop. With a few tools and a couple of set screws you can have it like your led ( but not as smooth as my dark LED!). Easy to work on and mini parts kits are cheap and plenty of compatible parts if you alread have a mini. Lots of cheap aftermarket boards available too but i just leave mine in semi.

I have 2 minis and a tm7, I prefer my ego11 any day of the week but for fitting in with the tac rail fetishists and not wanting to shoot a tippman go for it.

Ha, that's funny about your Dark LED, the trigger on mine was awful, even after upgrade, and yet the bog standard LED I shot amazingly

I have the techt bolt in one mini, cant tell the difference between the 2, I have a tadao, an ape rampage and the stock mini board flashed to the latest stock ( ie pre shockwave) by the lovely mr sosta at kee. I cant tell any diference between the boards, semi is semi and 10.5 bps feels just like it should

Rocky set my LED up when i bought it and it was soo slick
