TiPX Remote Line

Hi guys,

I've got a TiPX and want to use a remote line on it, but the one I've got is a quick release system and as I understand you cannot use them. How do I get my TiPX to work? Do I have to buy a new remote line? If so which one? Or is there something I can buy to make my current line work?

Not really got much knowledge with TiPX but a I think you might need to buy an adapter or just have a browse on YouTube I've seen/watched plenty videos about the TiPX. Hope that helps

Hi craig, my m8 has a TiPX and he used the remote line... im sure he had the quick release but i will ask him at work 2morrow

To run the TiPx on remote you need the remote line adaptor fitted
This comes with a standard nipple, of the same style as the fill nipple on your cyljnder

Any remote line other than 'ProConnect' style can be used

If your remote is a ProConnect then you either need a normal remote line, or the option that some people have taken to remove the standard nipple from the adaptor kit and to replace it with the ProConnect style nipple

Note - ProConnect style nipples are available on their own but there may be a slight variation in the specifics of different brands
