I'm quite new to the sport, but looking to get my own marker and kit soon. I have read every article on p8ntballer.com, but I was just wondering if there where any tips anyone would give me for starting out.

The kit I am looking into getting is displayed here.

Thanks in advance.

[I am 15 with no job, so money is a slight constraint for me.]

trust me, as a 15 year old that started paintballing just under 6 months now, and started going to walkons 3 months ago, it will mean that you can think about striking out anything else to spend your money on , i've cut down on a lot of things since i started, paintball has cut out my chewing gum completely, you just can't afford it

You'll have a ton of fun though :)

yeah trust us, it gets expensive. i think this is what puts people off from the sport. anyway

hmmm thats a really tight budget, if youre serious about getting into the sport then you NEED an electronic gun..something like an Angel LCD or IR3 atleast...youll simply be outgunned otherwise.

get a job, eg a marshal or something, and start saving. sure it will mean you take a while longer to get into the sport than you hope, but itll be worth it. go down to some King Of the Hill / Walk On events and ask to try people's guns quick. watch the games aswel. you can learn so much by TALKING and WATCHING.

I'm based in Somerset, my nearest site is Cannington paintball park, but I don't know how much business it gets. My nearest wildley known paintball pakrs would be in Bristol. I'm near Hamburger Hill.

I am thinking of expanding my budget considerably before I buy into a gun.

as for expanding your budget, £350 will buy you an Ion and everything else you'll ever need for a while
