Dont become " All the gear no idea" Enjoy the game, never take it to seriously, Keep your head down!
Move around. After you play for awhile you'll see that PB is a game of angles. If you can get the right angle on someone, you can eliminate them.
Also, wear a cup to protect the family jewels, gonads, testicles or whatever you'd like to call them. A shot to the balls can ruin your whole day.

Don't take it too seriously, it's a game - people who spit their dummies out when they lose are nobbers.
Don't ever ever ever consider wiping a shot.
Don't believe what ANYONE says when asking for marker recommendations.
People invariably only recommend the markers they own and a lot of the time slag other perfectly good markers off, despite never having used/seen/touched one - simply cos 'that's what the bloke down the pub told me'.
Only way to really decide which is the marker for you is to hang around at walk-on days / tournys and see if you can blag a go of a selection.
Oh and buy an E-mag, they're ace....I've heard those Angels are nothing but trouble.
