Hi

I am having problems with a tippmann a5 i brought off here. The cyclone feeder doesnt seem to be feeding the paintballs, its not spinning when i shoot. at first i thought it was the cyclone and i know that they are sometimes a pain. however my cyclone works on my mates a5 and his cyclone doesnt work on my. so we came up with the conclusion its the marker it self.

there seems to be air coming out of the hole from the side of the marker where it connects to the cyclone but am scrating my head the moment. should i just take it apart and clean it and put it back together or is it something more simple. please help

1. your velocity may be too low
2. the drive spring behind the back bolt could be too short
3. make sure the ratchet in the cyclone is all lubed up
4. make sure the o ring on the rod inside the piston housing is lubed
does your A5 have 2 holes on the right side of the gun?

Hi Mate I have had the same trouble that the Cyclone would not turn on It's own I have since purchased an Upgrade kit from E Bay Qeph Lightning Rod And Metal Ratchet (Chinese made but hey it works) I was luubing up the new stuff and discovered something Take the push rod out slide the Lightning rod in put a finger over the end where the push rod comes out and blow down the Banjo hole now my new stuff popped with a quick blow thats a good thing but my original piston Housing felt like it dragging and was not smooth so I polished it with metal polish washed it out and lubed up the Lightning Rod quick blow down the Banjo and it's a lot smoother That may help and the Upgrade from e bay come to just 0ver £30 with all you need a and squishy paddles
