Hi all.
I bought a second hand Tippmann A5 not so long ago, and while the gun works great, I am unable to open her up and clean the inside due to the allen screws being rounded. I thought of drilling it, but thought I'd better ask in here first if anyone else has overcame this problem.
Are they standard screws, will normal merchants sell replacements? I don't want to drill it out then wait for parts because I'm hoping to use the gun this weekend.
Secondly I broke my Egrip last night I took it apart because the adjuster screw had also been rounded - the one in the trigger handle. (It's the old style Tippmann Egrip) however when I tried to put it back together I had a real struggle and could not get it to work again. I kept fiddling with it, and either it wasn't "clicking" properly, or it would stop clicking if I pulled the trigger a few times. I think the air line that screws in at the bottom was pushing the solenoid up so that it could not move properly. I took the trigger apart again but when I removed the board capacitor and solenoid all of the wires just fell out.
I am going to try to solder the connections back on. Does anyone know if there is a diagram online as to which contact points the pos and neg go?
If anyone has experienced any of these issues I would greatly appreciate a reply.
Many thanks,
GodForbid.
