Can you make recommendations on upgrades please for me over the coming months?

Barrell
HPA
Stock etc.....

And also pist some of the best or local (live in west midlands) paintball equipment retailers.

Nice one

I've never really seen the point of having a stock unless you're using a remote line (Tank on your back attatched via a cord), whenever I've tried one I think they just get in the way, but each to their own :)

As for barrels, I really don't think you can beat a Custom Products barrel or a Un1tec barrel, J&J ceramic barrels are pretty good too, but the best barrel I've used on a Tippmann is probably a custom products 14" 1 piece barrel, LiPS sell them I think, nice and accurate.

The Ceramic J&J barrel boasts you can shoot through breaks, but to be honest I think it's a load of crap and they're not as accurate as the CP one from my experience, cheap though.

Un1tec barrels are freaking great, I have one on my G3 and SLG UL and love them, but I'm thinking of swapping them for a CP barrel after seeing how great they are on a Tippmann

Er, yeah, to summarise, I have a J&J Ceramic and a CP 14" single piece barrel for my 98cp that I use on public days with friends and I prefer the CP barrel. I wouldn't bother spending stupid amounts of money on a barrel kit that costs more than the marker you using though, save that for when/if you upgrade :)

My advise to you is don't upgrade it. When you have a go with an electro marker and realise how much you need one in your life you will lose loads of money on the tippmann. Both me and my friend made that mistake and I'm sure there will be plenty more people on here that would say the same.
Sorry for the negativity but I'm trying to save you money. Keep it standard and once you get the bug you won't lose out.:D

Agree with this except for the barrel, got to get a barrel, always get a barrel, the stock 98 barrel really is awful :D

And as for sites, at the bottom of the forums there is a list of retailers, in each of their forums there is a stick with a link to their sites

Because I collected I only paid £70 cash

The co2 tank is full
Proto switch mask
Tippmann 98c that looks like it's never been fired
All boxed with manuals and parts and tools kit

I think I did ok.

But, this is where it all starts LOL

are u intending to use that at a walkon event ?

as you will need to purchase a HPA tank and on top of that u will need a ghillie suit because u wont want to be seen with that :p

lol, c'mon....I have to start somewhere ;)

Sorry for sounding like a noob but 'walk-on'? (As in turn up and play?) if so, yes. Is that not aloud with CO2 then?
