tippmann 98 flatlines

hi, i'm going to get a flatline for my tippmann 98c...
i;ve seen 2 different types on ebay:

Platinum Series (?) -

other than the price, whats the diference??

i would assume the platinum flatty has the extra rails and stuff to ensure the proper fit on the tippy98c platinum

and the standard flatty would fit the standard tippy 98c

not sure if the two would be interchangable - why not drop the seller a message?

plat series is for the newer 98
not sure if it will fit your older version

Platinum one just screws in (I think they call it "Quick thread") too, the older one requires you to loosen the screws to get the attachment in and remove the back sight to attach the tacky plastic rail.

If the new one (Platinum) does fit, I'd get that one

your tippy 98c will say "platinum series" on it and have a set of rails on the top.....
