Tippmann 98 Custom Marker, Canister, Hopper, 4000 Paintballs, Mask and 5 x Shot Pots

First time selling on this forum so please let me know if I have done something wrong or havent met the rules etc. I'll try and be as clear as possible.

For sale I have my Tippmann 98 Custom Paintball Marker, 4000 Paintballs, Brand new gas cannister, Brand New Hopper, 5 x Shotpots and Scott Mask.



As you can see from the pictures, the marker itself is in good condition, obviously its going to have wear and tear and a bit of dried paint but its a gun, it serves a purpose.

As for everything that comes with it, well there are 4000 tournament level paintballs..

Brand New Hopper.. Just a standard one but cost me about £15

Brand new Gas Canister 20oz - Pure Energy.. Test date is 03/2012.. £25

5 x Brand new shot pots.. cost me around £3.50 a pot.

So in total nearly £300 worth of Kit all in one tidy package with everything brand new except the Marker itself. Absolutely everything you'd need to get yourself started..

Looking for £180 but open to all reasonable offers. Local pickup is my prefered method however I would be willing to post at buyers cost baring in mind its all pretty heavy.

The group picture with all the gear must have your username and date on a sheet of paper, hand written. The other pictures are fine if you do so

Hello mate, in addition to the above you may want to lower your prices a bit, as you could get everything you have there for less, new.

EDIT: In the pics you only show 3500 balls + the pod full? Thats not 4000 :/

I'm open to offers so no need to change the price.
In your opinion is it likely to sell quickly on here for the right price? If not I have a mate interested so I'll take it off here and sell it to him.
Just thought id see if I could get any more for it on here.

On here, you'd probs get £50-70 for the lot (Excluding the paint which would be another £40-£55 or so).

There is another forum called UKScenario, you'd have better luck selling it on there, as this forum is mainly a tourny forum, whereas UKScenario is more 'scenario' based

Edit: You'd also get more than what i've stated if you sell seperatly... £60 for the marker, £10 for helmet, £10 for tank, maybe £2 for the hopper and probs £5-£10 for the pods.

Dude stop telling me people to lower their prices, They put their prices up for a reason, And thats what their aiming for,And as he said hes looking at offers so he doesnt need to adjust his price.

D.w man, Just post up how much you want for each item and you will soon see some others, You could try posting some of this kit on some Other forums such as talkpaintball, UK scenario etc. Those are some of the more woodsbally forums

Obviously, he's fairly new to the sport and im just saying, i'd rather people go out and buy the stuff new for less than what he is asking.

When people sell stuff for double its actual price (Not in this instance). It's just being curtious to ask them to lower it. I've seen people selling used playing pants for £25, when they are only £15 brand new... So wouldn't want some poor guy spending out more than he needs too. Or the seller might not even know the prices.

If I were to post my Ion on here for £300, i'd get a damn lot of people reminding me of it's actually price, and asking me to lower it. So why shouldn't I help other people?

Ok thankyou for your help. I'll leave it on here for a bit and keep checking back to see if I get any offers at all. I'll try the other forum that you mentioned and see if there is any interest on there.

And yeh sorry didnt mean to cause conflict but I agree that it wouldnt matter if I set my price at £1000.. I'd still get offered what people think its worth or are willing to pay for it so it would then be down to me to accept or decline.
