Hi there all you paintballers.

I'm selling my Tippmann 98 ACT Platinum + Cyclone feeder it's been used only a few times and it has never failed me. This is a good Marker for all you out there that are just starting and for the veterans out there this is a very reliable marker ( The AK of paintball markers doesn't matter what you do to it, it keep working). All the items work nicely and still look really good. the price is 120 for all of this ( includes PayPal and postage). But i am always open to sensible offers.

Hope to hear for you soon,

Not to bash your sale, but the tippy98 with ACT is now £40 second-hand at rap4, and even if you bought the cyclone at the full £65 or whatever it was, that's still cheaper than your listing- not trying to be an ass or anything, would just recommend you took another look at your pricing

He Vimto
the 120 was more of a guideline but looking at the rap 4 site those thing together would still be around the 105 that's without shipping costs and paypal fees which is between 6-9 for standard delivery from what I've read so i' not that far of.

Buying gear from 'new' members is always risky (That's why your post on UKS got removed, they MUST get a vouch from someone for a new player)

I would highly recommend you went along to some games/walk-ons and got to know people, so that they can vouch for you. It gives ease of mind- or buy a few things from people first and build up a reputation for a good buyer. Can you see the problem with someone joining up, then selling gear? Nobody knows who they are, send the money across, and BAM, never hears from them again. No one wants to risk cash on something like that.

You could reassure people and use a third party service, like what Fat Bob's offer. For a person like yourself (new to the forums) it would be highly advisable. Basically you send the item to them, they check it, tell the buyer its all ok, they send you the money and then send the item on to the buyer. That was there's no conning possible.

I completely understand what you mean i i would use that third party service like fat bob's but is that just for Fat Bob's or would that also count for this site? All i what to do is sell my Tippmann because otherwise it would just lie here and collect dust (i own a x7 phenom since last year) and i don't have the money to go paintballing for the time being . I also live in Lowestoft and don't own a car the closest place is Norwich were i think these 1 field but i only went with my friends back in Holland. unfortunately Paintball is not high up on my priory list right now (no money :() But if there's another way of doing it like a third party I'm all ears.

I think Fat Bob's only do it for their site, but if you like, I can offer myself as a 3rd party- admin, could you advise please? Would this be OK/Advisable?
