personally I would go for the tippman as its parts are rock solid and it is also a very reliable field marker and when it does go wrong they are super easy to repair.

accuracy is fairly good as standard and you can get a good rate of fire out of them.

I prefer and use the a tippmann 98 with flatline barrel, and I have never had a problem with it. My advice is to try both of them out. Everybody has opinions on what they like but at the end of day your one who is going to spend money and use the gun. So TRY before you BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the quesion you are asking is all relative.

its down to how you play, and whether you want to be able to slap a load of extras on your marker at a later date to get that little bit more out of it.

ive seen neddyboy with his tippy (on the first day he had it) , and was even present when he had his flatline fitted. its a marker, it fires paint, he's happy with it.
the site i go down has used basic spyders for a long time, they are realy easy to repair, and the spares are easy to get hold of.

in comparison. i feel the spyder is a more refined marker than the tippmann, but the tippmann is built as a more sturdy marker.

its down to prefferance, and you can only make that choice once youve played with both.
maybe try and find a couple of playes with the markers of intrest, and ask to borrow them for a few games some time. im sure they wont say no.
