I've got a very old timmy, don't know what model (GZ I think) but its the one with an on/off switch rather than a button no lcd and the huge panel behind the left side grip which has to come off to expose the battery/board etc.

I've had to make some detents for it as they were missing. I've got it firing fine, the lazer eyes are working and it's not chopping. Problem is, it fires a second or so after the trigger is pulled which is a very weird feeling
I think its down to programming the lazer eyes to fire faster after they see a ball but I cant locate a manual for this old thing and none of the newer models have the same switch/board.

Suggestions anyone?

Mods can delete this now as I found a manual.

Seems the eyes aren't working properly, turned them off via the dipswitch and it's shooting ok.

Just seen this thread. The delay is because the eyes weren't working. The delay is built in so there's bugger all chance of chopping a ball.

If you ever need any timmy advice go here. They're all really helpful and can answer pretty much any timmy question.

Thanks Stan, I figured that.
Odd thing though; when finger testing the eyes/solonoid response all was good. Led would go from orange to flashing green and noid would trigger, but not when gassed up!
I've never seen a marker do that before.
I wanted to get her firing for the Weekend as a mate wants to loan it for the Bunker game on Sunday.
Fires fine up to about 10bps with an egg and eyes off so that will have to do him! Over that and it may chop!
Rec balls not about shooting ropes anyhoo!
