Timmy Techs

can anyone out there give me some names of shops that service timmys or individuals that are able to provide that sort of service please? I understand Pheonix have lost there timmy tech now so i need somewhere else (also they pissed me about for ages with an order so i don't really want to use them if i don't have to)

I have two timmys, both of which could do with a service and one with a slight leak, i also want a few changes made to it that i can't be arsed to do myself (change gauges and the like)

Wheres the leak comin from, how bad is it?

the leak is somewhere around the seal behind the top reg (classic timmy) i have followed the manual instructions and replaced it with a black magic seal, the leak has reduced but is still there when you try and turn up the pressure on the regs.

This is why I would rather get someone who knows what they are doing to sort it out as i will probably make it worse in the long run or break something else!

Oil that o-ring too, then tighten the reg in with a strap-wrench(dont over do it). If it is still there, its not the reg.

Andy at Pheonix isn't gone until Christmas... plenty of time to get him to service them

I know you said you had problems with them but have entrusted my markers to him and Jon many a time and never had a problem

Yup his 2 year work visa is over and he heads back stateside mid-december.
