Quick question for you! What pressure do you run a timmy at?

The operating pressure or the input pressure?

Cheers in advance :)
Operating pressure is generally below 200 psi and as low as 150 I think. Input pressure should be around 400psi although pre-sets (800-850psi) will work fine!

Better Things 2 Do!
It doesn't matter if you use a pre-set or adjustable reg on your air but an output from your reg is ideal at 500 psi

The inline reg (torpedo) then knocks it down to about 200psi

Then the LPR reg on the front of the marker knocks that to betweem 75-85psi for the marker

best way to set the timmy up to run sweet

Regulator Setup – recommended by BLAST

1. Screw in your tank or turn on the ASA so that your marker pressurizes.

2. Back out the set screw of your Low Pressure(LP) Regulator(reg) counter clockwise(CCW) until it is flush with the end cap making it almost all the way out.

3. Back out the set screw of your High Pressure(HP) Regulator counter clock-wise(CCW) until it is flush with the end cap making it almost all the way out. Unless you have a AKA Sidewinder Reg (see your instructions booklet).

4. Pull the trigger a few times, it will immediately depressurize and the marker will not cycle.

5. Slowly begin turning the LP reg screw in clockwise(CW) in small increments of 1/16 – 1/8th as you pull the trigger of the marker until your LP gauge reads that your operating pressure is 85 psi. I would recommend a operating pressure of about 70 - 80 psi. I have mines set at 70 psi with no shootdown. If you are unable to get any pressure to raise it up to 85 psi, then turn your HPR up a litle bit.

6. Slowly screw in the set screw of the HP reg CW until about 2-3 turns or until your chrono readings hit 275 – 300 fps.

*Once this is done you don’t have to de-gas your marker for the rest of the day. If you do de-gas, you may have to reset your inline reg because the speed(fps) may change.

**For Classic Intimidators:

The guage on the left side of the gun is the LPR pressure.

The one on the right shows the High Input pressure.
