just set the eye to forced mode if your using a halo or a y/z board halo.then set your debounce to abot 12-15 to stop you being pulled by chrono judges,my empire and ironmen havent been touched since ive had them so if it works ok on the factory settings leave them
may i suggest that you turn the bip up to about 0.5ms as the stock bip doesnt allow for balls hiting the bottom of the breach and bouncing slightly.

LCD? or LED? if it's LCD then press both of the membrane buttons at the same time which takes you into the menu. press the right hand one in the menu to scroll through the options and the left hand one to enter options. Once in, left one to change options, and right one to save. Press both again at same time to leave menu.

when you turn the marker on what does it say on boot up, it might be in competition mode (which is should be for tournaments - but it's never checked in the UK) as if it is the debounce and BIP etc aren't shown in the menu.
