Just got hold of a Timmy and the screw that holds in the left eye is stuck in so tight I can't get it out. The main problem is that the inner part of the head has been worn down to the point that it looks like a circle and so the allen key just spins about inside it. Any suggestions or ideas on how I can remove the screw.

Also where can I get new ones as they look a little rusty.

Sounds like a familiar problem: this happened to my GZ

2 Options: both include getting onto the lovely Emilly at NPS and getting a replacement eye screw.

Here goes either use a dremmell or a Chissell to belt/cut a straight into it so you can get a screwdrvier on her (which i did and worked a treat)

Or drilling the head off the screw- removing the eyecover and then with a pair of pliars unscrew the remainder of the screw out of the gun body..

Other option are filling the head with glue's and cold welds but 1/2 the time it just breaks away and leaves a mess on your cover

Best of luck:)

Rob, get yourself a small center punch, and angle the center punch so that the punch is near the outside of the screw facing anti-clockwise. Give it a tap to get the punch started, and then angle it a little more and give it a good tap. This should loosen the screw easily.

Skeet can you sort us out some black ones, do you know if you can get the replacment rubber ADB nubbins for the stock eye covers. Could also do with an O-ring spares kit, hi flow barb kit and some dow 55, but would need to know how much for the later 3 before I commit to buy.
