Sorry another Timmy question.

I've owned a Shocker, Cocker, Angel, Impy and X-Mag but never come across a ADB system like the Timmy. On my Alias they appear to be rubber nubbins glued to the inside of the eye covers and then poke through a slit in the side of the marker.

So how do I replace them as one on mine has snapped off, and what if I want to upgrade to a different style, do I have to buy new eye covers?

They come in packs of 5 or 10, call Si @ Just paintball in reading and keep him busy.....

There not glued - the rubber circle is just a nice tight fit.. it should be easy enough to get out

I'd replace it as urgent as a single detent on timmys can cause a few issues

Yeah looking at the colour of the end of the bolt that was why the guy sold it to me. I don't think stock bolts were supposed to be bright pink on the end!!:D The left ADB is ready to snap off completly, it's hanging on by a small piece of rubber and the other had gone and left just a small stumpy piece of rubber.

I've been told to use Spyder ADB's instead, not sure why!

Pink.... hmmmm

The stock timmy detents are black and the extra hard ones are blue

Stock bolts will not take Hard adb's because they have no groove for them.

I think spyder detents are harder as some ppl have issues with halos/reloaders pushing balls past the detents and Blue detents are like rocking horse poo!!!

I've taken off the front oring(s) before without any problems, then just take a file and cut a slight grove in the bolt.

Made detents last a lot longer and might have affected efficiency but I never noticed it...

Got you - just replace the detents with eitehr stock blacks - there really cheap anyhow - i bought a pack of 10, cant remember how much for but it was less than a tenner

They can go relatively often so having a few in your kit is wise

I never had problems with the standard detents and there easy enough to get so......
