What is it with some guys.......
u ask ppl not to waste ur time when u have a marker on the for sale section,and what happens.....Bingo,u get ppl just talkin, who must have read the first post,just leaving u sh*t,saying if thy had the money,are there Granny dies in the near future they will take it off ya hands!!

i mean if i had the money id buy a bloody fast sports car or summat....

Personally, I dont mind people doing abit of window shopping as words gets around that way too.

Ergonomically speaking the retention of information is different if its on a screen than on a page (something about viewing angles). So you have to plan out your advert so that the viewer recalls important information without having to reread the advert start to finish.

On top of this, you have to filter out the 'joyriders'. Usually spotted by

• complete lack of questions about condition of item for sale.
• Emails or messages mistyped and not in english, and usually without an intro or a signoff (ie. "Hi there, just seen your advert for the blastomatic..." and "Regards Fred").
• complete lack of questions about payment methods after saying they'll have it.
• people who say "I can pay you a deposit. Can you send it to me, and if I like it I'll pay the rest"
• people who do WTD posts but never come back to your answer

Oh the list can go on, but as a seller you need to be assertive.
