A few days ago after the dust had settled on that whole crappy 'newsflash' affair, I made a decision to kinda have a sabbatical away from the boards in terms of reading and posting.
There are occasions when I really don't do myself any favours when some wannabee idiot yanks my chain and I react.
And so, much to my wife's relief, I thought it would be best for me and our site as a whole if I allowed the site to grow under it's own momentum and the guidance of my trusted mod team and I'd retire to forum obscurity.
I've had a lot of fun on here, pis$ed off many an individual [but they deserved it] and I've made sooo many friends, a lot of them really good friends too.
Jay [Buddha 3] has always stayed loyal to me and I cannot thank him enough, friends like him come along once in a very long time.
I wanna thank Craig and Cheryl and Lump and Bon and all my mods for all the work they have done for our site. They've been fantastic in making this site what it is today.
I also wanna thank all my customers who have advertised on here and continue to invest in the p8ntballer.com product ... all of them are good freinds of mine and i felt priviliged to know them professionally but moreso as friends.
Ledz has been my most loyal friend in this group and he has done so much for me and continues to do so ... he's one in a million I tell ya.
If I had to put the future of UK ball in anyone's hands, it would be his ....
I have one last little piece of faeces to clear up before I finally take my leave but I'd like to thank all you guys out there for making this place the most popular paintball forum in Europe ... and that is no lie, no exaggeration, it's the plain truth of the matter.
And that is down to my mods and to my members.
I've got my rocking-chair sorted out and my pipe and slippers and I'm looking forward to spending more time with my wife and grandkids ...
I will still own the forums of course but I'm pulling away from the front line as it were.
Anyway, I've done my bit for paintball, earned the stripes ... now it's time for a well-earned rest ....
