The London Tigers are looking to recuit a support team to help the team at events.

We are looking for novice players just starting out in the sport. No experience neccessary as full training will be given over a period of time... We will need you to help us "pot up, gas up" and generally give us a helping hand.

While not at events you will train along side us until you have gained the experience and skills neccessary to compete with the team.

Starter markers and goggles can be provided to get you going... and should you want to step up equipment levels we can help with that when your ready.

Please feel free to PM me or post up any questions you may have.

Neil:)

Neil,

Are you sure this is such a good idea. Pinki has numerous convictions you know. ;) ;) ;)

On a serious note, if your looking to step up or get on the ladder in a Team that takes Paintball seriously (pinki excluded), this sounds a great oppurtunity. A good way to get exposure to top UK ball even if it means a bit of support work!

paintordie: Helping out, but not playing is not a problem... and we would be more than greatful for any help... if you did then decide you wanted to play at a later date you can always do so...

Strongle: cheers for the shout... we're doing this to help teach some skills from the ground level up... some may say "well why not start another team?" and the answer is we probally will. But at the moment we don't have the internal structure or time to start a whole 4th team (Tigers Kids, Tigers Pro and Tigers Am)... So at least this way we get to make a core of maybe 2-3 people who then with time can front the beggining of the forth team... or walk straight into one of the already running squads...

Helping out a high class, experienced team is an excellent way of learing about how to have a professional attitude and be taught techniques for tournament ball. I spent a couple of years helping the Preds out before I ever played and found this time invaluable once I started playing tournaments.

I would highly recommend this for anyone who is thinking of moving into tournament play, as the Tigers Am are a great bunch of guys who really know their stuff (except Pinky of course!:D :p ).

Liz- Cheers for the shout,

NBR- you need your own pit crew just to carry all the paint yo need! :D - just for me!

On the more serious side, to anyone unsure of how to 'get a foot in the door' this is probably the best offer of entry into a team going. Come and see us at the Dartford 7's second leg for a chat!
