i am aware of the rule about not being more than 3 feet away from your kit or you are pulled, but then does this mean you can not throw a pot of paint to a team mate???

I am sure you can cos when you've filled up your hopper with a pod you just dump the pod on the ground and play on and quite often you go further than 3 feet from that. So it is the same principle.

i THINK that if the pot has paint in when you drop it after filling, then it gets shot or you leave it [3 feet] then you are out......

LMAO

You can just see all these players running around trying to bunker someones half empty pot :D :D

So you arn't allowed to pass paint right? that sounds like a crap ruling. Surely to effectively pass a pot takes some skill. I know scrabbling into the open to get a team mates passed pot was an interesting experience.

As far as I know you are allowed to chuck a pot to one of your teammates. The way I see it, the pot is a discarded one as soon as you throw it, so should the pot get hit while in the air (nice shooting!) you won't be eliminated.
Maybe this question is better of with someone on the Millennium rules board....
