So, after a years break from paintballing for 3 years i've decided i miss playing it too much :p so i'm planning to get back into playing rec-ball and possibly move onto something like sup-air. I still have all my old kit, (nothing special, just an old skool automag ;)) so i reckon its time to get a more competitive marker. Im either thinking of an Invert Mini or a Proto SLG/Matrix Rail. Whats the difference between the 2 proto's other than £30??

With the release of loads of affordable, tourney level markers, does this mean paintballing is becoming cheaper than it was before and more accessible to newbies, or am i just looking into it too much?

Lastly, does anyone play at camouflage in hampshire? Cos thats my local site and ive always wondered if any one who actuallyplays paintball goes there.

Cheers

Iv'e found personallyu that the pmr is better than the slg slightly. Not sure which is £30 more haven't looked in a while but the pmr is much better. Now when it comes to the mini vs pmr ive owned and shot both and i prefer the mini. However there were issues with some minis so you have to watch out for that, and it isn't for everyone.

It is absolutly tiny and so people with larger hands don't like it, or tend not to so i definately recommend trying before you buy.

And yes it definately is cheaper to get into balling but the playing cost has remained the same, so its more newbie friendly at first but still the same old bills :)

the Matrix Rail is slightly higher end than the slg.
Money wise it may be more expensive as the guns now shoot very high bps so paint bills may be higher.
