Looking at what has just gone out on facebook it looks like a lot of changes are afoot next year

- nxl, mills and pals to unite under one banner, one format and one rulebook
- 2 new venues for mills, campaign cupto move to a new London venue and a new venue in spain (barcalona)
- lots of new rule changes possibly meaning that M500 may be delayed for another season but will eventually come in

PSP tried changing rules and formats ..... just saying.

On a more positive and serious note it has bugged me for a long time that we play different formats here in Europe to those played in the US or Far East events.

I hope to see the same field dimensions, bunker sets, field layouts, game format, rule book, gun firing modes and rate of fire etc etc

Full XBALL style matches at all levels with different game times for the divisions would be sweet, although that may not be the wishes of every player by a long shot.

Race to 2/3/4/5 replaced by 5.00/7.00/10.00/16.00 minute matches ?

New location for Campaign (n) I love BasVegas its the perfect location Hotels are close to site, plenty of food options and its in Essex !!, Unless they have a more perfect location.

Or probably got the new venue cheap is how its probably going to work

I am a bit mixed on the M500 still, but happy its getting delayed.

If they are thinking of going to time, limiting paint is the polar opposite. This sounds like the outbreak of common sense paintball has been waiting for. The devil is in the detail and that's thin at the moment. But standardising paintball means you can move it towards being a sport ,looking like a sport ,marketing it to the outside world and new sponsors. A long journey ,but every journey starts with a first step. A good move ?? Time will tell.

Links down :(

I liked Basildon, it was a lovely location, and dead easy to get to from London City Airport.

Spain would be nice. I thought someone said 2-3 new locations. Does this mean no more Germany?

Ah ha! There was a typo in the link.

So yea, new London location, Barcelona, and a new location in France. They may introduce 2 or all 3 next year.

Barcelona would be pretty sweet, not super jazzed about the new London place unless it's really easy to get to from the airports.

New France locale...Surprised if it leaves Puget, with that being the home of the TonTons, but I can't see leaving Chantilly because the venue is so nice. So maybe Puget get's replaced with Marseilles? Or...Nice? Or somewhere else that way as early in the year there aren't too many places warm enough in France to host it.

That's the reason I originally pitched Basildon - basvegas and the hotels to try and bring some of the apres ball atmosphere back. Plus now I can also land there.

At least someone else noted what I saw when I had the original idea - job done. Thanks stoney
