Not everyone does but they are very popular because they are not only well built markers, but its nice to be able to send your marker to the people who make them to add stuff or service your marker.

Nope we've got a Uk based team that are entirely Angel users.

no e-logos but it doesn't mean I don't use them. Main thing is that they are the biggest home retailer for us. SP Europe is ok but they only do SP stuff. There are other retailers like Rekka, Pheonix, LPS etc. but the most well known retailer for pretty much anything you need is Planet. Plus they have a wide line of products that they have designed.
