Over the centuries thousands of wars and conflicts have been fought, as a species, humans thrive on competition and conflict, from the Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians and Egyptians up to this day, this hour, this moment, the one constant has been the wars we engage in. Centuries of conflict, bloodshed and loss and yet, humans show the depths of their souls when forged in conflict, with acts of heroism, nobility and compassion and conversely destruction, genocide and ruthlessness. It is for just these qualities, that humans have been noted, watched and examined, not as alone in the cosmos as they believe.
Numerous millions of warriors and soldiers have fallen amid the carnage and slaughter, the vast majority of these unfortunate souls will find their way to either the light or alternatively to the dark, receiving the reward they have so justly earned by their actions in life. At play with Angels or the plaything of Demons, and this should be the way of it.
But it isn’t, for the few, the unlucky few, those we shall call the truly damned, death is just a beginning. For those whose soul is balanced by light and dark, there is a place called by some Purgatory, where they shall go to work examining every detail of their life, millisecond by millisecond, judging the finite levels of their souls, eventually to make a true judgement on the balance of their soul for the Light or the Dark and to finally find their place.
In the places of the cosmos and planes where no-one treads, live countless beings of power, alien and distant to humans, in the same way humans are to amoeba, and amid these are some who are interested in humans, their nobility, their bravery, their vile and heinous nature.
For warriors or soldiers who die with a balanced soul, their journey to Purgatory is not guaranteed, these beings seek the balanced, the ‘truly damned’ and take them for themselves. As toys, playthings to the gods, to fight deathlessly through eternity, subject to the whims and wishes of these omnipotent children.
And so, I say welcome. Welcome to the ranks of the ‘truly damned’ and to………..

Don’t know why, but they like to watch us fight, it’s gotta be a good show too. Hehe, we had some guys a whiles back come from their ‘Great War’ liked fightin in lines an trenches, didn’t go down well with them, they likes movement an heroics, sneak attacks and charges, besides they sets the rules and can change em or add a few ‘special’ touches. Makes life, or more accurately death, here more interesting, he he.”

We got all sorts, from every period in history and in some cases they’ll tell you they saw Ares, The Valkyries, The coyote spirit or some other deity or god come and collect them and bring them here, in all cases in fact, it was, for want of a better word, the owners.
There are many of them and they each have their own colour, today lucky you, it’s Ysgaren the Bloody Handed and Villanor the Stratakon, they have a real rivalry going these two and they’re two of the most active in the ‘games’.
Ysgaren is a real fire brand, likes action and aggressive leaders, less planning more bloodshed, Villanor believes in strategy and making the best of terrain, entry points and troop strengths”

Entry to EVERWAR is £45 per person. However, if you played at last years Islas Malvinas game you are entitled to a £10 reduction on this price so therefore entry will cost you £35! Obviously, we have a record of who played last year and who’s entitled to this reduced game fee so please don’t try and con your way to a cheaper game fee. Last years players will also receive priority when it comes to booking in. Rental players’ packs are available at an extra £10 to the game fee.
Something new this year is that every player in attendance will receive a FREE Souvenir T-Shirt of the game. This does not have to be played in!!!!! It is included in the game fee and is yours purely for wearing down the pub, at work or even in bed.
There will be a fancy dress competition for the best dressed player. As the game has scope to include every type of warrior to ever see combat only those that make a supreme effort stand a chance of winning the trophies.
Once again this game will be played at the excellent, Bullswood Skirmish in Surrey. We are putting in place new measures to allow for easier reinsertion and full details are in the Players Pack. As ever you will be able to purchase food and drink all day from their on site caterers.
After last years problems with the Air supply we will have H-Pac in attendance filling to both 3000 and 4500psi; CO2 will also be available. Bottle checks will be mandatory; if it’s not in date or faulty, it won’t get filled!! Paint will be BYO but you will be able to purchase paint on the day from BZ Paintball Supplies, who will be attending with their mobile store packed full of goodies and offering tech help. (Please speak to BZ directly with regard to your paint requirements).
We are supporting the Help For Heroes Charity with a raffle with prizes generously provided by BZ and LiPS. Your unique player ID number will be entered into this raffle and extra raffle tickets will be available on the day.
Some important things to note:
There is no camping on site. The Crawley/Gatwick area is only 20 - 30 mins drive away so some of you might want to frequent the hotels in this area. Those that have attended before will no doubt have their favourites so I would urge all of you to book early.
The site car park is a distance of 500 yards from the site itself. If you’ve been here before you know we operate a transfer service for you and your kit, from the car park to the site itself. Please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to get parked, transferred, registered and set up before the game briefing starts. As before we will allow some cars to drive down, unload gear and return to the car park but only if you are carrying the majority of your teams kit/paint. Obviously we will operate the transfer at the end of the day. Registration will be open from 15.00 to 17.00 on Saturday 21st for those that can make it. For those that want to, field walking will be available from this time as well. There will be games on the site so please bring your goggles.
No explosive devices (flashbangs, paint grenades etc) are to be used on site at any time. We know this is a bit of a pain but this is a Council Planning stipulation and we cannot get around it. Smoke grenades are permissible and will be available for purchase on the day.
CHRONO LIMIT IS 280FPS – ABSOLUTLEY NO EXCEPTIONS!! We will be employing the ‘register’ approach taken by Shoreline at Against All Odds. We will make sure everybody is chronoed before game on. Any guns found over this limit after game on will incur penalty points and if the gun is firing extremely hot (in excess of 300fps) you may well be excluded from the game. If you don’t know how to set your gun up right then now’s the time to learn as ignorance of this procedure is not a reasonable defence!! This is everybody’s safety we are talking about here so I make no excuses for being a jobsworth on this subject.
Radio Channels We are stating here and now which Radio Channels each team can use. Ysgaren’s Army get channels 3 – 5. Villanor’s Army get Channels 6 – 8. I would hope that both sides would play fair and not tune into the opposition!! This leaves channels 1 & 2 for Game control and Marshalls etc. You will not have any tactical advantage by listening to these channels so please do not tune your radios onto these channels as you could well interfere with the safe running of the day.
