I havent actually heard that much about these markers. Only the pics and slight info off the website really.

Dude... the (new) Shocker IS open bolt..... it just has an o-ring in the breach that SP call 'seal forward technology'
The nerve is essentially a hyper evolved Impulse, with some changes to how the air moves around and how the bolt works. I guess an impulse shags a (new) shocker is probably the most accurate description. A lot of components have been shrunk and it has a built in LPR...plus of course it has 4 fire modes, standard semi and 3 ramping modes that work similar to the old school Turbo modes once the trigger is pulled over a certain amount per second. Oh yeah, and apparently it's built like a brick ****-house and is REALLY reliable...but then again SP always say that.
Also, a little dickie-bird has been telling me that there is a new re designed Impulse coming out next year
