Alex has kindly set up a VCS for the gaming (and otherwise) community on this forum,this is NOT in anyway run or policed by P8ntballer and hence there is no responsibility taken for, or decisions made about, what is discussed on it.
The Moderators on the server are in no way sanctioned by P8ntballer/PGI so if you have any problems there is no point in trying to get us to sort it out it wont happen. However it is a great facility for everyone, so use it.
We now have a Voice Communication Server for P8ntballer.
For this we have used a program called Teamspeak, it's free to download and run, no costs at all! A voice communication server/system allows you to talk to others in a similiar way to chat rooms, except by using your voice to have a real conversation, rather than type. If you are new to this all follow the instructions below to get talking to ballers from around the world...
What's the worst that could happen?
If you know what you are doing...
-Server Address: ts26.light-speed.com:8022
If you don't...
-Go to this website, and download the top file on the list http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads
-Then install the program and run it
-Go to settings > Sound Input/Output Settings
-Assign a button to PTT, this will be the button you press to talk
-Click connect and right click in the white space, then select new, give it the name P8ntballer
-Fill in the following information in the relevant fields
-Label: P8ntballer
-Server Address: ts26.light-speed.com:8022
-Nickname: Whatever you want to be called, you can change this later
-Leave 'allow server to assign nickname' unticked
-Select annoymous unless you have been given a teamspeak username by a mod
-Click connect
-Say hi!
Also:
-(To change the channel you are in double-click it in the list)
-Any more questions, PM me or ask on the server
Feel free to connect anytime, there'll probably be some people on, and 8pm (British Time) everyday is the evening chat so if you're just going to come on once a day, come on then and we should have loads of people on!
