As most will know, I have had my differences with these guys over the past year or so with things getting quite acrimonious between myself and some of them guys.
Last weekend I flew in all the guys from Nexus into Marseilles to train against the Ton Tons, Vision and JT All Stars.
The Ton Tons now have a very different line up with all of the problem people having left and now have a new young line up with Frank being their guide through Professional Paintball.
I don't know how many times we played over the weekend, something like 40 games of paintball and I did not see one example of bad play, it was the fairest weekend's paintball I think I have ever seen.
When we arrived on site, we were greeted with a large 'Welcome Nexus' banner and a bottle of Champagne.
Wherever we went, we were taken care of, it was un 'frikkin' believable.
All of the teams not only played fairly but all learned from each other, it was the perfect learning environment with no fear of cheating or Monday morning bragging rights.
I want to say a huge thanks to Frank, Laurent and Lionel (Vision) and of course to all the players who attended.
We will definitely be going back.
Frank and Laurent have now put right everything that maybe was wrong and now Ton Tons can once again be respected for being a great French Paintball team.
Respect !
PS Frank - tu es le Monsieur
