although i did find this amusing, you could kit out aircraft carrier with some russian fighter planes for only £285,000 each, which is pretty dam good

No actually you would end up in the crew pits which are down each side of the flight deck. All aircraft carriers have them to ensure that the flightdeck crew are not blown overboard by the jet wash.
The russian fighters you are talking about LJ are no good as they are not carrier viable, having no landing hook fitted to them. and don't even think about fitting one as an after thought as it needs to be built into the design and if you don't fit it in the right area, the first time you land and you did get it to function you will the warp the airframe of your aircraft due to the stresses involved.
