LOL

Right not one to step in the deep end im going to go to the temple at the end of the month with a m8 of mine who has just joined a team.

My Experience so Far of paintball is firing off rounds in the woods, not even a day of rec ball to my name. Oh and watching two episodes of mission paintball :)

To Quote a few phrases

"I talk the talk now its time to walk the walk"

"Time to put up or shut up"

So as a virgin to the slaughter what do you guys reccomend as some tactics not to emabarress myself :)

Watch before you play a game, wid someone who can tell you a little wat to do, then, listen to the old guys who think they know it all, cos you will pick up everything from them! they do actually know what they are going on about most of the time, just have fun and welcome to the attiction sport!

Ta for the info

Well thanks for the info il try to bear it all in mind.

I was looking at another post about a team going to the temple.

My Marker is only an Automag, Can i expect that 90 % of the people there are gonna come armed to the teeth with All there angels and Schockers?

So has anyone got any advice of how to make the most of using a less powerful marker than your opersition?

Should I be trying to play Sneakey?

Or is it a case of spray and pray?

Im really looking forward to going now and hope the days played with good spirits and fair play :D

See ya in the beer tent if there is one :)

A beer tent! At Temple!
Only in my dreams.
Anyways to answer some of your questions,
yes a large percentage of of tourny players are gonna be using angels, shockers etc.
no, the marker being used by the other team should not effect your playing style at all. You should only bear in mind the player using the high end marker.

A good player is a good player no matter what marker he's using
and the same goes in reverse. I'd much rather face a bad player with an angel than a good one with a splatmaster.

You really shouldn't worry about being overpowered just watch a few games and get in there and have fun.

If your marker can shoot at 300 fps and fires every time you pull the trigger its no less powerfull. So don't worry about the other players markers.

Try initially to keep it simple when you play.
Keep tight to your bunker. (Remember to watch your elbow, dont let it stick out to your side keep it tucked in)
Aim, when you shoot. Try and pick the target
If you see one of the opposition move bunkers, yell it out to your team.
Have fun

Other than that paintball is a simple game that just happens to be very difficult:confused:

See you down there.

ps. for a more detailed version of the above read the classroom texts off of the main site.
