The Stupid Design Of Spyders Almost Got Me Pulled!

i almost got pulled at a torni due to the design of my spyder!
i got accused by a marshal of being able to freely change the velocity of my marker...this is true. but only because the velocity
adjuster on my spyder is just a knob at the back witch you can turn at will...
then he started saying things like
"what if i told the other team you could freely adjust your velocity?
and i was like fekin hell!!! i dont cheat!!!!!
then he said
"how do i know that"
till eventuly i had to play with another team mates gun!

on the back of most spyders the knob has a little fitting in it you need to tighten so that you cant freely turn the knob.

but i can turn it with my fingers ?

they found this out cus my gun kep on running hot and wouldnt go down...

Didn't you buy yourself a shocker? anyhow, there is a little black bit on the knob into which you can insert an allen key. tighten it until you can't increase the velocity.

Also if a spyder is always running hot just cut down the main spring by a couple of coils...

I KNOW ABOT THE LITTLE SCREW WHAT YOU TIGHTEN TO STOP IT FORM BEING TIGHTEND!
BUT I COULD EASILY LOOSEN IT SO THAT I CPULD CHANGE IT
BACK UP!!
THATS WHY I ALMOST GOT PULLED!

I suppose you could always offer to loctite it with something weak enough that you can re-adjust later, but cant turn with your fingers.

Nah, you should really get an electro, even if it's a spyder! it just gives you the ROF to compete!
