Why is it (& is it only me that's noticed?) that when you give someone (usually a skinny 'erbert) a fast gat to have a play with, they all seem to adopt the same pose to try it out?

Think about it. How many times have you seen it at a tournament? Skinny 16 year old with (usually) a planet cocker, stood on tiptoes, presenting a profile, arse stuck out, gun into the waist with the vert reg tucked tightly into their chest, left elbow hanging out at 90degrees to the body & pretending that they can walk a trigger at 40bps.

These people should be ridiculed at every turn, I mean, honestly, how many people actually play like that? :D

If anyone has a digital camera (& is prepared to take a photo of this phenomenomenomeon) please post up here. Name & shame. :D :D

wondered

I too have wondered about this, its like John Cleese, (Monty Pythons) Ministry of silly walks, but its the ministry of silly stances. I thought it was some sort of competition to see who could look the daftest, but obviously not.

Personally they should make you all stand in a Brucy Bonus position before the start of the game.

Robtattoo has a lot of room to talk cos Storm always used to look SO very cool dragging their 52kg warp-drive hopper feeders, in wheely-bins, to their barricades. Very nice:D

with the warp feeds we have beaten (over the last few years) Joy Division in about 2 minutes, Shockwave a few times (although they beat us as many times), Russian Legion (when they wore pyjamas :) ), most nearly any Am team we came across unless they were yank, Ugly Ducklings once, Kellys......we took Avalanche (the Laysoya Avalanche) down to 30 seconds left, and countless others to name the most memorable. And yes we got beat loads aswell.

Anyway, enough of that. Rob, do you ever notice the stance people adopt when they walk a field? Probably similar but there aint no gun!!! Looks wierd, but we all do it hehe ! :p
