Well I brought the 2 evil pimp spare or repair markers from baudsenseless with the intention of having a little project to do, To learn a bit more about markers and well for the price who could complain?

Anyways I thought I would post how I got on with it.

So Here they are before I started work.

As you can hopfully see from the pic there was a few things wrong with the blue one but apart from a few tweaks and a new battery the black one was working within a hour or 2.

The blue one however was going to take me a little bit longer to get back up to scratch...

Basicly poor blue had the battery conections ripped out, the air line was missing and one of the fittings was bent.
Also the top grip screw had been sheared off.

So a trip to maplins to pick up battery connectors (Cost me 99p) followed by a trip to the workshop and I set about putting this back together.
So I drilled out the old screw thread, tapped it out to the next size and bobs your uncle (still need to source a smaller headed screw but ime getting there).
Soldered the new battery connector in, turned on the marker and we have a light!
Woohoo i thought to myself at least the board seems to work.

Now the air line... Well I had a little fun with this. I thought I would try some 6mm industrial air line, I swapped the fittings got some air line and put it together.
Now on screwing the regulator in I was well aware there was 3000PSI heading towards it so thought I better be prepared in case the line didn't hold.
So holding it at arms reach and facing away from me I nipped up the valve to pressurize the gun...
And the bolt flew back just like it was meant to!
Woohoo again I though... For about another second at least then there was an almighty bang and my air line had a big hole in it LOL.

Lesson learn't industrial air line is no good.....

So A little browse on just paintball for a new air line and fittings (£15) And on arrival I have just fitted them, and tested the marker....

And it now works!!

WOOHOOOO!! :D

So for the sakes of £16 and a little time and effort, Not to mention a very ****ed off Ms (she was in the bath when the air line blew) I now have 2 fully working Evil Pimps :D
