Ok, I went to the evil paintball site and saw a marker there called the omen. There were no other details that I could find though. Does anyone know anything about it? Supposedly their products are first rate, so I would assume that this would be a butt-kicking marker, but no one seems to have heard of it. Any comments?

I just looked at the pic at the evil site. looks like the new pmi marker with an electro trigger, but I'm confused, why is the cocking rod on the bottom tube? I've never seen that before.

but if it is anything like evil paint it should rock.

This is all I could find out

-Closed bolt electro coming out from Evil (PMI line of products)
-Doesn't take standard grips
-Doesn't have a standard VA/ASA
-Offset vertical feed tube with a "lever arm" that helps to feed paint

Yeah its PMI's first venture into the closed bolt electro market.

They are being very tight with info about it but the price tag will be under $500. You get the new pipe barrel with it (but with only one back section). I have been told that the reg on it is pretty hot as well.

Visit paintball.com, its one of their stories at the moment...tells u all about it. Accuracy of a cocker and speed of an angel apparently... sounds good to me for that price :D

There is something spooky going on with the feed neck, as far as anyone can work out it uses back pressure or something to force balls into the breach, and because of the design of this the feed neck is slightly off to the right. It's still a vertical feed but shfted right about 3/4".

There is also some speculation about the internals - it's a closed bolt EP, but little clues like the cocking knob on the back of the lower chamber suggests it's some hybrid design. It's certainly not a pure EP, since htey don't need manually cocking. But for under $500 MSRP, who's complaining, if it shoots fast and straight?
