The Northern Quarter Manchester 3 MAN ETEK NEWBIE TOURNAMENT ON 13th of september.
IN association with:
www.Planeteclipse.com
www.corruptedpb.com
www.paramina.net
www.uk-masters.co.uk

On the 13th of septmber The Northern Quarter will be holding the Etek newbie 3 man tournament of 2008

Each team (either to be decided on the day or in advance) will be assigned a Coach for the duration of the day, this coach will teach you the basic skills you will need for tournament play, such as important warm ups and kit organization which are often overlooked, and also game winning skills like field walking, laning, breakouts and communication etc.

As the tournament is under way your coach will be on hand to advise your team and give you tips on performance, the coach will not be playing but will be able to help kit up between games, help with field strategies/game plans

Don't worry if you don't have a 3 man team this is all about getting to grips with the tournament scene, players that don't have a team will be put in to 3 man teams

Prizes will be given to 1st,2nd

The winner of each event will be entered to the end of season tournament where the first prise will be a full Planet Eclipse etek deal which includes 3 brand new etek's and playing kit
Plus full support form the Northern Quarter and Corruptedpb.com and Planet Eclipse

This is a great chance to mix with other players and maybe start your own team, or come down with your friends and see about taking your first steps on the tournament ladder. We are looking at this as the stepping stone to other tournaments such as the king of the hill, or UK Masters 5 man. With this controlled and guided environment, you can avoid many of the pitfalls a lot of first time players encounter and get a helping hand with how to organize yourselves for an event both beforehand and during the days play

With this we’d hope to put people on the path of playing regular events, while showing how valuable training can be, with the goal of making sure people no longer feel any worry about what to do at events and how to control your day and get the wins that count

Helping with getting new players in to the sport as well the UK-Masters has offered every player that plays this event a discount on there UK Masters tournaments which is the next great stepping stone on the way to a great tournament career

Wendy has now started her 3 man as well, any who has already played our 3 man has now got the discount to play, all you need to do is email me and then i can pass on your details and get you signed in

The format to the day will be this
5 man rules
Arms bands
6 minute games
NO coaching

To showcase the great range form planet eclipse we have to hire out etek2’s, ego8’s and the ‘etek on steroids’ which shows the great addition that the star frame can make to your already Great Etek, with air systems and loaders.

Air will be supplied from our new compressor courtesy of Paramina Paintball, without doubt the cleanest and safest system around

A rental charge of £5 will be issued (to cover costs of batteries) + a form of photo identification as we have had issues in the past with people not returning their gear.
Please make sure you pre-book ANYTHING you need as everything is limited and you may not get it.

Prices for this event are as follows:
Green Fee £15.00
Green Fee Plus paint £32.50
Green Fee Plus Paint & kit hire £35.00

For more details contact me via email on markie@northernquarterpb.com

Please put your name below if you wish to book in.

If you do not have paypal, please let me know so we can make alternative arrangements.

See you there!

we need players there for 10.00 ready to go, as the field will be up and ready to go.

Also please if you need kit or paint then try to pre book it so we have enough for every one that comes

Its both but you don't have to take part in the training in the morning we do it to help people out plus it just means practice for every one which is a good thing isn't it?
I for one thought last time was the best yet..good training followed by good balling..

Put into practice what you learnt in the morning. After all it is a newbie tourny.

have to agree the training on both tournies that i have attended has been excellant, and to play straight afterwards has really helped me and the others to progress.

Wozza has a skill in reminding me to use my left hand to say the least.

I'm hoping to learn alot next week on the newbie training day which hopefully will help the following week in the tourny.
