hi.wots every1s take on the new a-5? Its a gr8 gun but that cyclone feed cylinder on the side looks crap!Tell me wot u think.

I think it looks like an anti-tank gun, far too.....millatary.

Too true the side bit is a big bulk of crap. I mean is it worth that big bulk for the gun to be the fastest loader?
The model 98 is better in my mind. And it does look a bit to army like I agree, I say people go for the model 98.

Ok, the A-5 is a good gun. The only problem i have with it is that its a rec gun, period. Its ment to be. Tippman has decided to take more of a recreational style to all of their guns, now i'm not saying there is anything wrong with that but i find rec ball to be really really boring. Personally if your looking to go into tournaments i would go w/ something like maybe a cocker or better yet a timmy, vision impulse or angel. A-5 is a good gun, nearly indestructable. you could drop it off like a 2 story balcony and it would still fire fine. So if ur looking to upgrade from the world of the lowly rec marker and have one of the best rec guns around go with the A-5. But if your looking for a good (cheap) starting tourney gun that you can get wicked rates of fire and play tight with go w/ something like a base model impulse.

Yup, impulse is a good budget tornement gun, and if you ever get a lil' extra cash there are tons of upgrades for it. well thats what im doing anyhow.

Hey man, have u checked the pages and threads under the heading Classifieds, there is always new and old teams on the lookout for players. Dunno about your area though.
What i sugest is to post that u r looking to join a team within or around your area in the classifieds section, and just wait for the replies.
Otherwise go to the next available tourney and ask around, if you have persistence and an enthusiasm, it will happen in no time m8.

Nope, havnt got it yet. Its still between upgrading my inferno and buying a impy. The thing is if i upgrade my inferno i can still use it on rec days, but if i wanna get into tornements then the impulse would be better...depends mostly if i can find a team i geuss....I duno, at the mo im leaning towards the impulse.
