The midweek poll....paintball pranks

Okay kiddos,

We've had uproars about people shooting eachother with paintballs in Jackass, 8 Mile, we've complained about the not entirely correct representation of paintball on TV shows....

So feel free to shout bloody murder about this here little clip:

It was fairly amusing.

Let's face it guys, most of us have at some point done something we shouldn't have, whether it be something like that particular shower scene or just shooting somebody you're standing next to in training just for the fun of it!

Only difference is, some people choose to exhibit their pranks on the net. It's because of these 'exhibit's' that people are given the opportunity to foul mouth the sport & 'speak their brains'! No, it's not great advertising for the sport but it's not the first, nor the last time something like this has/will appear!

I like it - funny as hell, only two shots so wasn't excessive (although a full loader and debounce 1 would have been funnier I reckon ) and if people don't like it, then don't watch it!

Pranks are good clean fun. But...

Shooting unprepared, unwilling and/or naked people isnt fun in my book.

Couldnt watch the clip (Doesnt the real world run on MediaPlayer?) so i cant comment on that one, but a teammate that shot paintballs at me in the shower would be dead before my brusies started bleeding.

Why paintball pranks are a bad idea

Found this on the web:

PITTSBURGH-August 13, 2003 - Two teens who drove around Pittsburgh
shooting passers-by with paintball guns were shot with real bullets for
apparently targeting the wrong group, police said.
Tracey Smedley, 19, was treated at UPMC Presbyterian hospital's
emergency room and released Tuesday, said spokeswoman Jocelyn Uhl. She
could not provide a condition for an unidentified 17-year-old.

Smedley, the 17-year-old and an 18-year-old man drove around a city
neighborhood armed with paintball guns and wearing helmets and paintball
vests, Pittsburgh police Lt. Philip Dacey said.

During their drive, the teens pelted children at a playground and shot
at another group down the street, Dacey said.

When the teens turned around to tell the group on the street they were
only shooting paintballs, someone returned fire with a gun, peppering
the driver's side of the car with more than a dozen bullets, Dacey said.

lmao...that was a good video

one of the pranks I find amusing are when people accidentally eat paintballs...such as, at my local site they use WHITE shelled paintballs which can easily be mistaken for the White Maltesars, so my friend et moi set out on a mission to pi55 off my mate, We took some of these paintballs and stuck some in a packet of white maltesars and covered the last bit with actual maltesars, the difference couldnt be seen. So we ate the maltesars on the top in front of a mate and offered some to him...well...you know the rest, all I can say is...I still need to hide away from him!
