the matrix???????????

Buddha 3

Hamfist McPunchalot
Matrix.
Hmmmmm. I don't own one, but I used to sell them. Here's what I can tell you about them. They used to be gasguzzlers, but the second generation is a lot better (I'd still advise on a 4500 PSI bottle though). Accuracy is pretty good (with the right barrel). And they are freakishly easy to shoot! They shoot horrendously fast! I personally find fastfiring the matrix in semi mode easier than doing the same with an Angel. The Matrix is a fine alternative, along with the Impulse, if you're looking for something with the 'shootiness' of an Angel, but at a (far) lower price. What i found to be it's major drawback is it's finish. It's nowhere near as goodlooking as an Angel, nor does it have all the snazzy buttons and displays (which, admittedly don't do much for the markers performance). Also the gripframe is a bit bulky. If you got small hands, it may get a bit tiresome to hold.
The trigger of the Matrix is a wet dream. It's snappy, but requires very little pressure to pull. The trigger pull is sweet and short. Unlike the Angel it's got a sort of a 'click' in it, when you hit the micriswitch. Obviously all electroes have this click, but the Matrix and the Tribal are the only ones that I know on which you can actually feel this click (sort of like pressing the button on your mouse). The main difference between the Matrix and the Tribal: the Tribal is even cheaper, and it's a piece of junk! (just my opinion)
Personally I prefer my Angel, but that's cause I'm a sucker for it's looks, and for snazzy bits (which don't do much), hell, I'd still like to have a leopard skin grip!!! However, when it comes to performance the Matrix rates no lower than an Angel, but it comes at far lower price. So if you're looking for a decent electro, the Matrix isn't a bad choice at all.

So yes it kicks ass.

By the way, make sure that you try it before you buy it! I don't know what marker you own at the moment, but some people can't deal with certain type of markers. This doesn't mean that the marker sucks, it's just a case of the right 'feel'. For instance, one of my teammates shoots a freeflow cocker, and he tried out a Matrix recently. He wasn't too impressed, but I think that's because he's used to cockerlike triggers. I shoot an Angel, and I like the trigger on the Matrix a lot. So try it, and see what you think.

Good luck.
