The makings of another controversy?

When the site was announced for NPPL-PSP AC (a regular alphabet soup) there was a fair ballyhoo that the field would be limited to 96 teams regardless as there would only be six fields in use. Somehow that 96 team restriction jumped up to 107-110 teams (can't recall which) but there are still only 6 fields.
How they gonna get all the games in and is there anyone out there wanna try to es'plain the bump in team numbers?

Is it multiple guess?

A - Chi-Town went well and people have short memories, so Vegas and attendant problems have been forgotten by PSP

B - The number '1' was missed off the list, so PSP sadly couldn't run the 196 teams they planned to

C - NPS owns the entire world and 107-110 are Gino's seat numbers in tha Masons Lodge (Tyger gave me that one...);)

Those extra teams will rake them in probably $25000 of extra cash..What do they care if schedules get behind! Its always that way and probably always will be..Its gonna be amusing to see the outcome..Let the threads begin...

Same number of games. Just running them about 12 hours a day and trying to turn them around on 18 minute rotation.
**See field layouts. Look like a serious beer drinker, thick in the middle. Fast fields=fast games. (most of the time;) )

They both saw what field design can do.
Look for extremely aggressive fields in AC - and NO scheduling problems !

Pics of 5 fields available elsewhere. ;) And while they have made some useful changes to the norm they hedged their bets on a couple and all it's gonna take is for those fields to get behind and everyone is screwed. Also, from what photos show a match-up of teams tending toward the timid can still run the limit--though if it happens both teams oughta be penalized.
Still no answer to last minute change in absolutely maximum number of teams no matter what. :D

PS--110 teams, 8 prelim games = 440 games means each field must accomodate 37 games a day. The games better be fast.
