hey guys, i got myself a team: official name = "The League" unofficial name = "the league of extraordinary *******s"

were based around essex area, specifically colchester/tendring/clacton and i was wondering if anyone else was around who wanted to play us, or if there are any fixtures near here that teams could get involved in, were really lookin to get involved and play as much as possible. any info would be great.

Also, has anyone heard of the old paintball team Bad Company? not the usa one, that sprung from bad company uk.

I appreciate it's a new team and it's after midnight so I start getting grumpy but you do realise your team name is the first impression people get of you. Not sure what your ambitions are but with that team name you might be creating hassles for yourselves in the future you don't need in so far as needing to attract sponsors, players etc.. Maybe if it was a good acronym but LOEB isn't.

Remember, a name isn't just for Christmas it's for life.

My old team was called Monkey Love, and we managed to secure a reputation for being fun, slightly odd chaps and picked up a few nice deals on the way.

Your Team's behaviour and image count for far more than it's name at your level, and you can always change it when you get bored.

Thanks mate, mr grumpy there obviously was just lookin thru older threads to boost his postcount and saying the first unrefined drivel to come out of s mind. Thanks for the encouragement, plus the name has become somewhat of an attraction so far!

Not quite midnight so won't take umbrage But with my post count after two years on these boards I think it's safe to say that's not a game I play.

Most people know us as The League as it is anyway Whilst the name of a team IS the first impression people get of you, it need not be a lasting one As mentioned, its about how you act, not the name
